Introduction: Parathyroid hormone (PTH) is a peptide-based hormone that controls the level of ionized calcium in blood and extracellular fluids. Hemostasis is regulated by the balance between natural stimulants and inhibitors on platelet functions. Disruption of the balance between inhibitor and stimulants leads to thrombosis or bleeding.
